Saraswathi Puja Navaratri 21-28 January 2015 |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The
Grand Festival of Maha Saraswathi for 2015 runs from January 22-28.
Saraswathi embodies “Gyana Akasha” or all pervading knowingness.
She presides over all expressions of knowledge: pure and applied. She
governs music, the arts, speech, writing & all aspects of learning
and creative endeavor. Traditionally, she is worshipped or invoked by
those seeking success in artistic endeavor, study, sciences & research,
along with those seeking success in their career.
She
is also worshipped by those seeking the pure knowledge of Enlightenment.
Taking part in Saraswathi Puja Navaratri yagya festival, your inner & outer life is infused with Shakthi or nature's organizing power. This generates a powerful momentum for progress and success on all levels: happiness, fulfillment, success in creative endeavors, studies, career & saadhana (spiritual endeavor). Maha Saraswathi will bless your life. This wave of wholeness rolls through you, your family, your community & the world nourishing all beings at every level of creation. |

Navaratri (nava = 9; ratri = night) or 9 nights of Mother Divine is the time for cleansing and purification and evolution throughout the whole of nature. This is when the tide of Sattva or coherence or wholeness of life rises to purge the lower, fragmented, imperfect values of natural law. In Vedic mythology it is represented as the time when Shakti (the quintessential power of the universe), champion of the gods, is victorious over the demons (lower, fragmented forces of nature). It is a time for light to triumph over darkness. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
There
are 4 Navaratris each year [also known as the 9 days/nights of Mother
Divine]. The coming Navaratri is dedicated to Maha Saraswati - the aspect
of Divine Mother governing knowledge, intelligence, creativity &
profession. Saraswati Puja - the Grand Day of Maha Saraswati happens
on the 5th day of the festival: Saturday 24 January. |

Harnessing nature's momentum through yagya |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Navaratri is also known as 'Durga Puja': 9 day festival celebrating Durga: the Divine Mother -the wholeness or collectedness of God's feminine aspect. Yagyas are traditionally performed during the 9 days to harness the momentum of this highly auspicious window of opportunity. Navaratri or Durga puja yagyas serve to direct this lively flow of nature's organizing power into our daily life in order to safe guard and enhance our progress & evolution and also to achieve specific goals. |

Ganesha, Oh my goodness; I can sure feel the effects of the yagya. It
is truly amazing. Thank you Ganesha. CC Australia K.
and I really enjoyed the Rudra yagya - it was a very deep and stable experience.
She said to tell you that she feels much stronger. Thanks for that. Now
we're looking forward to the next Navaratri - what a pleasure to be in
a position to be able to this! AS USA ...I am simply left with a wonderment at the workings of the universe and an overwhelming gratitude for his (Ganesh's) help. Full Text Can you remember...just how much he was suffering. Then we did the yagya...I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I am and how happy and confident he has become. Full Text Then when he suddenly had all that pain over Christmas I thought well this is it. Then the yagya you did for him seemed to take away the pain... which 'suddenly' one week after the yagya resolved in one day... Full Text ...I do not ever remember feeling as positive and calm as I have since the Yagya has been completed. Full Text ...she and her friend won 1st prize for their section [Years 7 to 10] and then proceeded to also win the Grand prize for the evening, beating the year 10, 11 and 12's... Full Text ...Well only you could believe that on day one of the yagya his solicitor wrote to us offering to settle (after 4 years)... Remarkable. Ganesh this is the conclusion to all of the dramas which began 4 years ago. This is the outcome we have wanted. Full Text The
green light was given to J's new show (after saraswathi yagya) - discussions
about giving it the go-ahead had earlier stalled with indications that
it would not be commissioned. Production is now underway and all is going
smoothly. Thought you might like to know that J's new show (which we had the (saraswathi) yagya done for in July) has consistently been number one for the last couple of months. Everyone agrees it is punching about its weight. Very cool. All the best 2008 L. NSW, Australia Hi Ganesh |

Kaamakhya
Kali Temple, Guwahati, Assam
Number 1 temple of Mother Divine in India Kaamakhya temple is famed throughout India as the birth place of Kaama Deva, God of Love. Kaameshwari Devi - the patron Goddess of the temple is held to be an aspect of Kali. This temple is renowned for bestowing the gifts of bhukti (pleasure) and mukti (liberation/enlightenment). It is widely considered as India's greatest centre for Tantric learning & experience. Out of all 51 Shakti Peeths (primary temples of the Divine Mother), Kaamakhya is universally held the most powerful and auspicious: number 1. |

For thousands of years, pandits, tantrics and yogis have come to Kaamakhya to attain perfection (siddhis) in the performance of their saadhana (spiritual practice) and yagyas. One of the essential principles of tantric philosophy is that true knowledge is deeper than what our senses perceive: things are not as they appear. From the orthodox perspective, Enlightenment (liberation/mukti) and pleasure (bhukti) are held to be mutually exclusive. However, integration of life is one of the great gifts of Kaamakhya: divine union through the fullness of our humanity. |
