HOW TO OBTAIN CLEAR THUMB PRINTS
3 clear
thumb prints are needed to identify your record.
Best method to obtain clear thumb impression is place clean
sheet of A4 paper on edge of table. Ink the thumb well
(GENTS/RIGHT, LADIES/LEFT) by rolling it thoroughly on the stamp pad.
Most important is to apply almost NO PRESSURE when putting the
inked thumb onto the paper. DO NOT ROLL THUMB ON THE PAPER.
Apply thumb flat to paper - touch very lightly - remove quickly.
This method gives clearest most accurate thumb prints.
For good measure do 3 sets of 3 prints [9 clear prints] in this way. Then
write your full name and contact details on the paper.
